Argentine men's shoe brand Terrible Enfant made its way onto the Buenos Aires shopping scene four years ago when Hache Caillaud and co-founder Luz Bauzá decided there was a need for a new kind of luxury men's footwear, combining Argentina's shoemaking traditions with European quality and their own unique design edge. Their handmade men's shoes are available exclusively from their Buenos Aires Palermo Soho Showroom.
- Who is you favourite designer and why?
"Yves Saint Laurent has been the biggest influence on me and my career, and he was clearly a TERRIBLE ENFANT; he was such a unique talent and had a huge impact on fashion. If I had to choose a more contemporary designer, it would be Alexander McQueen. He was so inspiring with his choice of themes; he had the ability to turn shows into theatrical performances."
- What would you wear with leopard print shoes?
"For me, black clothing goes best with animal print shoes. For a casual look, pair black jeans with a white or black shirt."
- If you had to pick one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
"I don't know if I can choose just one pair! If we're talking about versatility, I think that our BURTON shoes are one of my favourite models. They're black with metal rivets so they're classic with an edge and you can dress them up or down."
- What's the 'in' colour and shoe style for this spring/summer?
"Blue, burgundy and camel colours are going to be big this season. And I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a lot of moccasins in Buenos Aires fashion."
